Q:Talk about a special contribution youve made to anemployer。A:In my last job I ran the United Way campaign for three consecutive years。 I believe its an important cause; and I know it's difficult for the pany to find volunteers; so I stepped in。

A:Ive been involved in Junior Achievement。 I was an economics undergrad; and I liked seeing the highschool kids get  
excited about what they read in the paper and about how economics affects their lives。

A:In my last job my boss asked me to take over all the uncollected accounts。 I was able to recover 20 percent more than his goal。 I convinced people that I was willing to work out an affordable schedule based on their needs; and I did this by asking about their problems。 Once they vented; they would usually listen to me。

acplished; and Im ready to do the same for another hospital; thats why consulting within the industry appeals to me so much。

A:I could help you increase your business within the OEM market。 As an OEM contractor for four years; I understand how to structure deals that will be profitable。

A:I found it intimidating to work with the marketingresearch staff when I started my job; mostly because I hadn't done well in statistics or market research during college。 What I decided to do was enroll in an executive seminar on market research;  
which really boosted my confidence。 Now I dont feel at a disadvantage when I meet with the research group; and I know what questions to ask to get information thats meaningful to me。

A:Im proud of the fact that I graduated on time with a solid GPA while I played varsity basketball for four years。 A lot of the women on my team either took a reduced course load or let their grades suffer。 I believe the reason I got through it all was sheer determination; I never even let myself visualize anything but finishing on time and with good grades。 So I firmly believe; as a professional counselor; in the importance of a positive outlook。

A:I had to work two jobs to put myself through graduate school。 I interned at the newspaper while I studied journalism during the week。 Then on weekends; I sold real estate。 Juggling those three schedules was a challenge; but I did it because it was important to me to graduate without school loans。

A:People often rely on me to handle client confrontations。 Im known as a person who never loses my temper in front of customers。

A:I worked on the mittee to review our pany's policy on sick leave。 One of our employees was abusing the system in order to gain vacation time。 I served as the objective member of the group; having used virtually no sick leave in five years of employment。 I ended up presenting an idea that the panys now considering; which is to allow up to one week of sick time to be voluntarily allocated to extra family leave time。  
问:谈谈你如何支持和协助集体获取共同的目标。

A:I helped meet our goal of value to stockholders by holding a fire sale of goods to clean out our warehouse。 The public was invited; with a preview for customers; suppliers; vendors; and stockholders。 Attendees bought new but visually imperfect electronics ponents at 70 percent reductions。 We cleared twenty thousand dollars from sales of equipment we'd written off。  
问:谈谈靠你的努力取得的可量化的成果。

A:I reorganized inventory planning and was able to automate the inventoryreorder function; which used to be a fortyhour process and now takes only three hours。
