by¡¡sets¡¡of¡¡mountain¡¡ranges£»¡¡impassable¡¡throughout¡¡almost¡¡their¡¡whole

length¡£¡¡¡¡So¡¡bent¡¡on¡¡barring¡¡the¡¡way¡¡are¡¡the¡¡chains¡¡that£»¡¡not¡¡content

with¡¡doing¡¡so¡¡in¡¡mid¡­course£»¡¡they¡¡all¡¡but¡¡shut¡¡it¡¡at¡¡their¡¡ocean¡¡end£»
