wn　to　me。〃　　
　10　约瑟将这梦告诉他父亲和他哥哥们，他父亲就责备他说，你作的这是什么梦。难道我和你母亲，你弟兄果然要来俯伏在地，向你下拜吗？


When　he　told　his　father　as　well　as　his　brothers；　his　father　rebuked　him　and　said；　〃What　is　this　dream　you　had？　Will　your　mother　and　I　and　your　brothers　actually　e　and　bow　down　to　the　ground　before　you？〃　　
　11　他哥哥们都嫉妒他，他父亲却把这话存在心里。


His　brothers　were　jealous　of　him；　but　his　father　kept　the　matter　in　mind。　　
　12　约瑟的哥哥们往示剑去放他们父亲的羊。


Now　his　brothers　had　gone　to　graze　their　father's　flocks　near　Shechem；　　
　13　以色列对约瑟说，你哥哥们不是在示剑放羊吗？你来，我要打发你往他们那里去。约瑟说，我在这里。


and　Israel　said　to　Joseph；　〃As　you　know；　your　brothers　are　grazing　the　flocks　near　Shechem。　e；　I　am　going　to　send　you　to　them。〃　〃Very　well；〃　he　replied。　　
　14　以色列说，你去看看你哥哥们平安不平安，群羊平安不平安，就回来报信给我。于是打发他出希伯仑谷，他就往示剑去了。


So　he　said　to　him；　〃Go　and　see　if　all　is　well　with　your　brothers　and　with　the　flocks；　and　bring　word　back　to　me。〃　Then　he　sent　him　off　from　the　Valley　of　Hebron。　When　Joseph　arrived　at　Shechem；　　
　15　有人遇见他在田野走迷了路，就问他说，你找什么？


a　man　found　him　wandering　around　in　the　fields　and　asked　him；　〃What　are　you　looking　for？〃　　
　16　他说，我找我的哥哥们，求你告诉我，他们在何处放羊。


He　replied；　〃I'm　looking　for　my　brothers。　Can　you　tell　me　where　they　are　grazing　their　flocks？〃　　
　17　那人说，他们已经走了，我听见他们说要往多坍去。约瑟就去追赶他哥哥们，遇见他们在多坍。


〃They　have　moved　on　from　here；〃　the　man　answered。　〃I　heard　them　say；　'Let's　go　to　Dothan。'〃　So　Joseph　went　after　his　brothers　and　found　them　near　Dothan。　　
　18　他们远远地看见他，趁他还没有走到跟前，大家就同谋要害死他，


But　they　saw　him　in　the　distance；　and　before　he　reached　them；　they　plotted　to　kill　him。　　
　19　彼此说，你看。那作梦的来了。


〃Here　es　that　dreamer！〃　they　said　to　each　other。　　
　20　来吧。我们将他杀了，丢在一个坑里，就说有恶兽把他吃了。我们且看他的梦将来怎么样。


〃e　now；　let's　kill　him　and　throw　him　into　one　of　these　cisterns　and　say　that　a　ferocious　animal　devoured　him。　Then　we'll　see　what　es　of　his　dreams。〃　　
　21　流便听见了，要救他脱离他们的手，说，我们不可害他的性命。


When　Reuben　heard　this；　he　tried　to　rescue　him　from　their　hands。　〃Let's　not　take　his　life；〃　he　said。　　
　22　又说，不可流他的血，可以把他丢在这野地的坑里，不可下手害他。流便的意思是要救他脱离他们的手，把他归还他的父亲。


〃Don't　shed　any　blood。　Throw　him　into　this　cistern　here　in　the　desert；　but　don't　lay　a　hand　on　him。〃　Reuben　said　this　to　rescue　him　from　them　and　take　him　back　to　his　father。　　
　23　约瑟到了他哥哥们那里，他们就剥了他的外衣，就是他穿的那件彩衣，


So　when　Joseph　came　to　his　brothers；　they　stripped　him　of　his　robethe　richly　ornamented　robe　he　was　wearing　　
　24　把他丢在坑里。那坑是空的，里头没有水。


and　they　took　him　and　threw　him　into　the　cistern。　Now　the　cistern　was　empty；　there　was　no　water　in　it。　　
　25　他们坐下吃饭，举目观看，见有一伙米甸的以实玛利人从基列来，用骆驼驮着香料，乳香，没药，要带下埃及去。


As　they　sat　down　to　eat　their　meal；　they　looked　up　and　saw　a　caravan　of　Ishmaelites　ing　from　Gilead。　Their　camels　were　loaded　with　spices；　balm　and　myrrh；　and　they　were　on　their　way　to　take　them　down　to　Egypt。　　
　26　犹大对众弟兄说，我们杀我们的兄弟，藏了他的血有什么益处呢？


Judah　said　to　his　brothers；　〃What　will　we　gain　if　we　kill　our　brother　and　cover　up　his　blood？　　
　27　我们不如将他卖给以实玛利人，不可下手害他。因为他是我们的兄弟，我们的骨肉。众弟兄就听从了他。


e；　let's　sell　him　to　the　Ishmaelites　and　not　lay　our　hands　on　him；　after　all；　he　is　our　brother；　our　own　flesh　and　blood。〃　His　brothers　agreed。　　
　28　有些米甸的商人从那里经过，哥哥们就把约瑟从坑里拉上来，讲定二十舍客勒银子，把约瑟卖给以实玛利人。他们就把约瑟带到埃及去了。


So　when　the　Midianite　merchants　came　by；　his　brothers　pulled　Joseph　up　out　of　the　cistern　and　sold　him　for　twenty　shekels　of　silver　to　the　Ishmaelites；　who　took　him　to　Egypt。　　
　29　流便回到坑边，见约瑟不在坑里，就撕裂衣服，


When　Reuben　returned　to　the　cistern　and　saw　that　Joseph　was　not　there；　he　tore　his　clothes。　　
　30　回到兄弟们那里，说，童子没有了。我往哪里去才好呢？


He　went　back　to　his　brothers　and　said；　〃The　boy　isn't　there！　Where　can　I　turn　now？〃　　
　31　他们宰了一只公山羊，把约瑟的那件彩衣染了血，


Then　they　got　Joseph's　robe；　slaughtered　a　goat　and　dipped　the　robe　in　the　blood。　　
　32　打发人送到他们的父亲那里，说，我们捡了这个。请认一认是你儿子的外衣不是，


They　took　the　ornamented　robe　back　to　their　father　and　said；　〃We　found　this。　Examine　it　to　see　whether　it　is　your　son's　robe。〃　　
　33　他认得，就说，这是我儿子的外衣。有恶兽把他吃了，约瑟被撕碎了。撕碎了。


He　recognized　it　and　said；　〃It　is　my　son's　robe！　Some　ferocious　animal　has　devoured　him。　Joseph　has　surely　been　torn　to　pieces。〃　　
　34　雅各便撕裂衣服，腰间围上麻布，为他儿子悲哀了多日。


Then　Jacob　tore　his　clothes；　put　on　sackcloth　and　mourned　for　his　son　many　days。　　
　35　他的儿女都起来安慰他，他却不肯受安慰，说，我必悲哀着下阴间，到我儿子那里。约瑟的父亲就为他哀哭。


All　his　sons　and　daughters　came　to　fort　him；　but　he　refused　to　be　forted。　〃No；〃　he　said；　〃in　mourning　will　I　go　down　to　the　grave　to　my　son。〃　So　his　father　wept　for　him。　　
　36　米甸人带约瑟到埃及，把他卖给法老的内臣护卫长波提乏。


Meanwhile；　the　Midianites　sold　Joseph　in　Egypt　to　Potiphar；　one　of　Pharaoh's　officials；　the　captain　of　the　guard。　
1　那时，犹大离开他弟兄下去，到一个亚杜兰人名叫希拉的家里去。


At　that　time；　Judah　left　his　brothers　and　went　down　to　stay　with　a　man　of　Adullam　named　Hirah。　　
　2　犹大在那里看见一个迦南人名叫书亚的女儿，就娶她为妻，与她同房，


There　Judah　met　the　daughter　of　a　Canaanite　man　named　Shua。　He　married　her　and　lay　with　her；　　
　3　她就怀孕生了儿子，犹大给他起名叫珥。


she　became　pregnant　and　gave　birth　to　a　son；　who　was　named　Er。　　
　4　她又怀孕生了儿子，母亲给他起名叫俄南。


She　conceived　again　and　gave　birth　to　a　son　and　named　him　Onan。　　
　5　她复又生了儿子，给他起名叫示拉。她生示拉的时候，犹大正在基悉。


She　gave　birth　to　still　another　son　and　named　him　Shelah。　It　was　at　Kezib　that　she　gave　birth　to　him。　　
　6　犹大为长子珥娶妻，名叫他玛。


Judah　got　a　wife　for　Er；　his　firstborn；　and　her　name　was　Tamar。　　
　7　犹大的长子珥在耶和华眼中看为恶，耶和华就叫他死了。


But　Er；　Judah's　firstborn；　was　wicked　in　the　LORD'S　sight；　so　the　LORD　put　him　to　death。　　
　8　犹大对俄南说，你当与你哥哥的妻子同房，向她尽你为弟的本分，为你哥哥生子立后。


Then　Judah　said　to　Onan；　〃Lie　with　your　brother's　wife　and　fulfill　your　duty　to　her　as　a　brother…in…law　to　produce　offspring　for　your　brother。〃　　
　9　俄南知道生子不归自己，所以同房的时候便遗在地，免得给他哥哥留后。


But　Onan　knew　that　the　offspring　would　not　be　his；　so　whenever　he　lay　with　his　brother's　wife；　he　spilled　his　semen　on　the　ground　to　keep　from　producing　offspring　for　his　brother。　　
　10　俄南所作的在耶和华眼中看为恶，耶和华也就叫他死了。


What　he　did　was　wicked　in　the　LORD'S　sight；　so　he　put　him　to　death　also。　　
　11　犹大心里说，恐怕示拉也死，像他两个哥哥一样，就对他儿妇他玛说，你去，在你父亲家里守寡，等我儿子示拉长大。他玛就回去，住在她父亲家里。


Judah　then　said　to　his　daughter…in…law　Tamar；　〃Live　as　a　widow　in　your　father's　house　until　my　son　Shelah　grows　up。〃　For　he　thought；　〃He　may　die　too；　just　like　his　brothers。〃　So　Tamar　went　to　live　in　her　father's　house。　　
　12　过了许久，犹大的妻子书亚的女儿死了。犹大得了安慰，就和他朋友亚杜兰人希拉上亭拿去，到他剪羊毛的人那里。


After　a　long　time　Judah's　wife；　the　daughter　of　Shua；　died。　When　Judah　had　recovered　from　his　grief；　he　went　up　to　Timnah；　to　the　men　who　were　shearing　his　sheep；　and　his　friend　Hirah　the　Adullamite　went　with　him。　　
　13　有人告诉他玛说，你的公公上亭拿剪羊毛去了。


When　Tamar　was　told；　〃Your　father…in…law　is　on　his　way　to　Timnah　to　shear　his　sheep；〃　　
　14　他玛见示拉已经长大，还没有娶她为妻，就脱了她作寡妇的衣裳，用帕子蒙着脸，又遮住身体，坐在亭拿路上的伊拿印城门口。


she　took　off　her　widow's　clothes；　covered　herself　with　a　veil　to　disguise　herself；　and　then　sat　down　at　the　entrance　to　Enaim；　which　is　on　the　road　to　Timnah。　For　she　saw　that；　though　Shelah　had　now　grown　up；　she　had　not　been　given　to　him　as　his　wife。　　
　15　犹大看见她，以为是妓女，因为她蒙着脸。


When　Judah　saw　her；　he　thought　she　was　a　prostitute；　for　she　had　covered　her　face。　　
　16　犹大就转到她那里去，说，来吧。让我与你同寝。他原不知道是他的儿妇。他玛说，你要与我同寝，把什么给我呢？


Not　realizing　that　she　was　his　daughter…in…law；　he　went　over　to　her　by　the　roadside　and　said；　〃e　now；　let　me　sleep　with　you。〃　〃And　what　will　you　give　me　to　sleep　with　you？〃　she　asked。　　
　17　犹大说，我从羊群里取一只山羊羔，打发人送来给你。他玛说，在未送以先，你愿意给我一个当头吗？


〃I'll　send　you　a　young　goat　from　my　flock；〃　he　said。　〃Will　you　give　me　something　as　a　pledge　until　you　send　it？〃　she　asked。　　
　18　他说，我给你什么当头呢？他玛说，你的印，你的带子，和你手里的杖。犹大就给了她，与她同寝，她就从犹大怀了孕。


He　said；　〃What　pledge　should　I　give　you？〃　〃Your　seal　and　its　cord；　and　the　staff　in　your　hand；〃　she　answered。　So　he　gave　them　to　her　and　slept　with　her；　and　she　became　pregnant　by　him。
